If you feel at immediate risk of harm or danger, call 999 or go to the nearest A&E department or Police Station depending on the issue.
How to start talking with us
If you would like to make a self-referral, please call our centre on 01772 880909. A member of our team will take some details and offer you an assessment appointment.
Your assessment will last around 20 minutes with one of our team members, during which you will have the opportunity to share what’s going on for you and how you would like us to support you. After your assessment, you will be placed on our waiting list to be matched with one of our counsellors who best suits your needs. Please note that the current waiting time is approximately 12–16 weeks. All our counsellors are trained volunteers who offer their time for free, so any donations you can make help us continue providing support. You can make a donation here.
Your counselling sessions
You will be allocated sessions at the same time and day each week, so please keep this in mind when agreeing to your appointment schedule. Sessions last 50 minutes and are held in one of our cosy, confidential counselling rooms. You will be offered a cycle of at least six sessions.
